Farmplan Buildings is a traditionally run family business based at Amble in Northumberland. Established by Alan and Anne Tremlett in 1976, Farmplan Buildings has built its reputation on the design, fabrication and erection of quality steel framed buildings throughout the Northeast of England and the Scottish Borders.
Our operations now cover a three-acre site with a purpose built workshop and offices. Our staff is committed to providing a first class service to all our customers. Our engineers all possess a detailed knowledge of steel frames and we utilise the latest computer design software and CAD drawing packages to ensure results of the highest quality and at competitive prices.

Our workshop incorporates modern saws with automatic calibrated measuring systems, and the latest in mechanical handling systems. All our welders are fully certified and the workshop is staffed by a highly trained and motivated team. All steelwork is shotblasted and painted in our in-house paint spraying facilities, or alternatively we can arrange for steelwork to be hot dipped galvanised.
Our team of surveyors is highly trained and fully competent to undertake all your surveying requirements. Our specialist construction teams are very experienced in the erection and cladding of all types of buildings.
