Established in 1976, Northern Structures Ltd. has become a key supplier of structural steelwork in the Northeast of England and the Scottish Borders. Our premises at Amble in Northumberland now cover a three-acre site with purpose built workshop and offices.
Our staff is committed to providing a first class service to all our customers within the framework of a Documented Quality System. Our engineers all possess a detailed knowledge of steel frames and we utilise the latest computer design software and CAD drawing packages to ensure results of the highest quality and at competitive prices.

Our workshop incorporates modern saws with automatic calibrated measuring systems, and the latest in mechanical handling systems. All our welders are fully certified and the workshop is staffed by a highly trained and motivated team. The workshop also houses an in-line shotblasting plant and paint spraying facilities.
Our team of surveyors is highly trained and fully competent to undertake all your surveying requirements. Our expert erection gangs work quickly, efficiently and safely whilst our sheeters are experienced in the fixing of all types of roof and wall cladding, including low pitch and secret fix cladding systems.
