Northern Structures Ltd are based in Amble, Northumberland and we are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in a full time, permanent position. We design, fabricate and erect bespoke steel portal framed buildings for the Agricultural & Industrial Sectors.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Fabrication Manager, you will be expected to :-
- Read and interpret drawings
- Prepare steel
- MIG Weld
- Fabricate structural steel components
- Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and policies at all times
- Maintain and ensure all equipment is in good working order, reporting any faults
- Undertake any other duties as and when required.
Skills and Experience Required
MIG Welding – Minimum 3 years experience is preferredPrevious experience of working in a busy factory is essentialMust be a confident welder/fabricator and able to work without supervision.
